Getting Started

Step 1: Turn on the P200

Turn on the P200 by pressing and holding the black button on top right hand side of the key pad until it beeps.

Step 2: Turn on the Windows Phone

Turn on the Windows Phone by pressing and holding the ON/Off/Lock power button located on the right side of the phone edge, in the middle, until it vibrates and lights up.

NOTE: A SIM error will be displayed. Simply tap the‚ "close" button to proceed.

Step 3: Unlock the Screen

Swipe your finger straight up and the home screen will appear.

 

Step 4: Launch the App

Tap the CyberCoupons Merchant tile to launch the app.

 

Step 5: Enter Login Information

Tap the UserID: box to bring up the number key pad and type in your UserID (1234) and tap the Create Transaction> button.

 

Step 6: Begin Using the App

The Apps Payment POS Home Screen will appear. Tap the button to select the type of payment method you want to use.

 

Wi-Fi Setup

How to locate the Wi-Fi settings and turn on the Wi-Fi on the terminal (if your terminal has been provisioned with a data plan you can skip this step.)

Option 1 - Use an Available Wi-Fi Connection

Step 1

From the home screen on your Windows Phone slide your finger from the right side of the screen to the left and the Windows App List appears.

 

Step 2

Select Settings, scroll down by sliding finger upwards and tap the Settings icon.

 

Step 3

Tap the word Wi-Fi and a list of available Wi-Fi networks appears.

 

Step 4

Select Wi-Fi network by tapping on your network name & sliding the on/off switch to On.

 

Step 5

Enter your password or passphrase, and then tap Done.

 

Step 6

Tap the Windows icon button to return to the Start screen.

 

Option 2 - Set Up Your Mobile Phone as a Hotspot

Step 1

Swipe down from the top of your screen.

Swipe your finger to the left (it takes you to a screen on the right).

Tap the hotspot icon to turn on the hotspot feature.

Swipe up to return to your home screen then tap, “Settings”.

On the settings screen tap, “More”.

Select, “Tethering & portable hotspot”.

Select, “Set up Wi-Fi hotspot”.

Step 8

Tap, “Show password” to display the current password.

Step 9

Enter what you want the password to be.

Tap, “Save” and you’re done.

Option 2 - Set Up Your Mobile Phone as a Hotspot (Windows® Phone 8.1 Update)

 

Step 1

Swipe from right to left to go to the apps list.

Scroll down to the, “Settings” app and tap it to continue.

Step 3

Scroll to, “Internet Sharing” and tap it to configure the settings.

Step 4

Slide the on/off switch to the right to turn Internet Sharing on.

Step 5

Tap on the edit icon (the pencil in the circle) to edit your username or password.

Step 6

Enter a new password in the, “Password” field.

Step 7

Tap the check box in the circle at the bottom of the screen to save your new password.

You’re Done!

 

 

Basic Transaction Steps


Step 1: Select Payment Type

Tap the button to select the type of payment method you want to use.

 

Step 2: Accept Payment

The‚ "Accept Payment" for your payment type will appear. Tap the‚ "Sale" button.

 

Step 3: Enter Dollar Amount

Type in the dollar amount of the sale and tap the‚ "Next>" button and the‚ "loyalty" screen will appear.

Note: Tap the‚"Enter Dollar Amount Box" to make the number key pad appear.

 

Step 4: Type Barcode Number

Choose which way you would like to enter the loyalty barcode number or skip the loyalty function by selecting the appropriate button.

Note: For loyalty, you can scan the barcode from the phone or swipe the loyalty card on the P200 device. If you skip the loyalty step your transaction will be submitted for approval and once approved it will be indicated at the top of the‚ "transaction ID" screen.

 

Step 5: Wait for Authorization

A screen may be displayed while the transaction is in the process of, “submitting”.

Note: Your transaction is being submitted for authorization, please wait.

 

Step 6: Select Receipt Type

Select the type of receipt the customer wants by pressing the appropriate button (Print, Text Message, Email, Display [displays on your screen]).


Step 7: Complete the Survey

Start the customer survey by tapping the‚ "Take Survey>" button and asking your customer the following three easy questions:

Note: All merchants participating in the USDA Pilot program for the P200 are required to have their customers take this brief, three question survey.

 

Survey Question 1:

How often do you shop with this retailer?

 

Survey Question 2:

What best describes your experience in using the new mobile technology to process your card today?


Survey Question 3:

Did you feel secure in using the new mobile technology to process your transactions today?

 

Step 8: Close the Survey

Once the survey is completed tap ‚"ok" button.

 

Step 9: Exit the Transaction

Tap the, "done" button to start a new transaction.

 

Step 10: Return to the Payment Screen

It will automatically return to the Payment screen.
